San Jose Giants lose to Stockton Ports - San Jose Mercury News

San Jose's Adam Duvall hit a three-run home run for the fourth straight game -- and homered for the fifth straight game overall -- but the Ports emerged with the win in the slugfest when Tony Thompson homered with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning at Stockton. Duvall has 26 homers this season, including six in his past five games. Thompson homered twice for the Ports, who scored in only three innings, including a seven-run third, and were outhit 16-14. Joe Panik went 4 for 4 and homered for the second straight game for San Jose.
