Taylor Rogers teamed with two relievers on a four-hitter as the Giants snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the Nuts in Modesto. Rogers (7-7) allowed three hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none. Chris Wilson and Jose Valdez each worked one inning. San Jose scored three runs on four consecutive hits to start the game. Carter Jurica tripled and scored on Joe Panik's single. After Adam Duvall doubled, Ricky Oropesa hit a two-run single. Luke Anders drove in the final run on a fielder's choice in the sixth inning.
