San Jose Giants top Bakersfield Blaze 4-3 in 12 innings - Inside Bay Area

S.J. GIANTS 4, bakersfield 3

Ricky Oropesa's single in the 12th inning drove in Joe Panik and gave the San Jose Giants a 4-3 win over the host Bakersfield Blaze on Thursday night. Earlier in the game, Oropesa and Andrew Susac hit run-scoring singles in the third inning to help San Jose take a lead. But three outs from victory in the ninth, the Giants yielded a home run to Juan Duran that tied the score 3-3. Bakersfield put two runners on base in the 12th, but Edward Concepcion prevented the Blaze from scoring.
